🏈 FOOTBALL FAQ
REGISTRATION
Where do I register?
• Register online at www.twinsburgfootball.com through May 31, 2026.
What forms of payment are accepted?
• Online payments (Mastercard & Visa)
• Special arrangements may be requested at [email protected]
Refund Policy
• No refunds will be issued after registration closes. See refund policy page for full description
Multi-Child Discount
• If you have multiple kids in cheer or football or kids across both football and cheer you will receive a discount at check out.
ELIGIBILITY & DIVISIONS
Who can participate?
• Open to all athletes entering grades 1–6 as of the Fall 2026 school year.
• Non-Twinsburg residents may participate unless their community is part of OGYFA.
• Exceptions may be made if both communities agree.
Football Divisions
• 1st/2nd Grade – 7-on-7 Modified Field
• 3rd Grade – 9-on-9 Rookie Modified Field
• 4th Grade – 11-on-11 Sophomore
• 5th Grade – 11-on-11 JV
• 6th Grade – 11-on-11 Varsity
MODIFIED FIELDS


Cost
• $350 per tackle football player if need Jersey
Weight Limits (if applicable)
• OGYFA weight limits may apply for certain ball-carrier positions.
Updated limits will be shared once released by OGYFA.
Is a physical required?
• Yes — physicals must be valid for the entire season.
• Forms available on the Forms tab.
What else is required?
EQUIPMENT
What equipment does TYFC provide?
• Helmet
• Shoulder pads
• Integrated pants
• Practice jersey
*Replacement fees will apply for any lost or damaged TYFC-issued equipment.
Parent-provided equipment:
• Game jersey (new players or size replacements)
• Mouthguard
• Cleats
• Gloves & accessories
Visors:
• Clear visors allowed
• Tinted visors prohibited

SEASON DETAILS
When does practice start?
• August 3rd, 2026 (Acclimation Week Mandatory)
Practice schedule:
• Typically 1.5–2 hours, 3–4 days per week
• Up to 5 days/week before school begins (pre-season)
Games:
• Schedule released in late summer
• Games played on Saturdays (morning through evening)
• Home games at Twinsburg Tiger Stadium
How many games?
• 7–8 regular-season games
• Playoffs for grades 4–6
• Bonus games possible for 7-on-7 and Rookie (coach discretion) as well as any team that doesnt qualify for playoffs 4-6
• Possible BYE week (not guaranteed)

How are teams created?
• Teams are divided equally according to OGYFA rules.

• $275 per cheerleader if they need all accessories

• A multi-child discount will be available for multi kids in same program or across programs. (Cheer/Football)

UNIFORMS & REQUIRED PURCHASES
What is included in cheer registration?
• Practice shirt
• Cheer uniform (shell & skirt — returned at season’s end)
• Bow
Additional required purchases:
• Rebel Athletics liner (long-sleeve)
• Rebel Athletics briefs
• Pom-poms
• White cheer shoes (cheer-specific shoes only — no tennis shoes)
Are these items mandatory?
• Yes — all required items must be purchased for participation.
Replacement Costs:
• Families are responsible for replacement costs for any lost TYFC-issued uniform items (shell, skirt).

SIZING & EXCHANGES
How does sizing work?
• Mandatory in-person sizing sessions will be scheduled.
What if the liner/briefs don’t fit?
• TYFC will offer a one-time exchange window.
• Items must be exchanged before the communicated deadline.

PROGRAM EVENTS
Cheerleaders may participate in:
• Twins Day Parade
• Ready to Roar Clinic
• Youth Night at the High School
• Cheer Showcase
• OGYFA Cheer Competition (additional fee & practices)
SIBLING GAMES
Can a cheerleader cheer for a sibling’s team?
• No — cheerleaders must cheer with their grade-assigned team (OGYFA rule).
📢 COMMUNICATION & FORMS
How will I receive updates?

• Team communication app (GameChanger or coach-selected app)
• TYFC website & social media for updates, events, and highlights
Where can I find required forms?
