
When and where is registration?
Participants can be registered at www.twinsburgfootball.com. Registration will be open through May 31st 2025.
When and where do I get my equipment?
TYFC will provide the following equipment: Shoulder Pads, Helmet, Integrated Pants, Game Jersey, Practice Jersey. Things parents are responsible for: Mouthguard, Cleats, Gloves, Forearm pads, and any other accessories desired.
Tinted Visors are prohibited unless a doctors note for the year has been provided and brought to every game. Clear visors are ok.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept online payments (Mastercard & Visa). Other forms of payment may be arranged in special cases. Please contact TYFC Board @ [email protected] if such an accommodation is necessary.
What are the player eligibility requirements and registration costs?
We offer tackle football divisions based on the grade the player will be entering Fall of 2025, and cheerleading divisions.
- The Tackle 1st/2nd grade 7 on 7 Modified Field Division will consist of players entering 1st/2nd grade
- The Tackle 3rd grade 9 on 9 Modified Field (Rookie) Division will consist of players entering 3rd grade
- The Tackle 4th grade 11 on11 (Sophomore) Division will consist of players entering 4th grade
- The Tackle 5th grade 11 on 11 (JV) Division will consist of players entering 5th grade
- The Tackle 6th grade 11 on 11 (Varsity) Division will consist of players entering 6th grade
- The 1st/2nd grade Cheer Division will consist of girls entering 1st/2nd grade
- The 3rd grade Cheer Division will consist of girls entering 3rd grade
- The 4th grade Cheer Division will consist of girls entering 4th grade
- The 5th grade Cheer Division will consist of girls entering 5th grade
- The 6th grade Cheer Division will consist of girls entering 6th grade
Participation cost for tackle football players will be $225.
Participation cost for cheerleaders will be $150.
Do I need a physical?
Yes, all football players and cheerleaders are required to submit a physical. Physical forms are available under the Forms tab.
Can my child participate if they live outside the Twinsburg School District? Yes, as long as the community they are coming from is not apart of the Ohio Gridiron Youth Football Association. And even in those circumstances if both communities agree it may be allowed.
How are the teams made?
The teams in each division will be divided equally in accordance with the rules set forth by the Ohio Gridiron Youth Football Association, of which TYF is a member.
When do we start Football practice?
First day of acclimation week/practice is July 28th 2025.
How long is practice?
Football practice is typically 1.5-2 hours, 3-4 days per week. Times and dates are left to the head coaches’ discretion. During the pre-season (Before School Begins), teams are permitted to practice up to 5 days per week. Cheer practices will be determined by the cheer director/coaches.
When are the games?
The game schedule does not come out until later in the summer closer to the season. Typically on Saturdays and can be any time from morning to even night games. Our home games will be at Tiger Stadium in Twinsburg.
How many games do we play?
We play 7-8 regular season games, and playoffs if qualifications are met for Sophomore-Varsity, bonus game can be played for 7 on 7 and Rookie at coaches discretion. There can also potentially be a BYE week however not guaranteed up to league discretion.
