2026 Cheerleading (Fall)

Youth Cheer Program

MAKE SURE TO REGISTER YOUR CHILD FOR THE DIVISION/GRADE THEY ARE GOING INTO FALL OF 2026! (NOT CURRENT GRADE) (Example: my child is in 3rd grade currently but will be 4th grade in Fall of 2026 I would register for 4th grade division)

Twinsburg residents going into 1st-6th grade
Cheer on our youth football teams every Saturday
Practice 2–3 days per week, schedule TBA
Learn age-appropriate cheer and dance skills in a fun, positive environment
Make friends and unforgettable memories
Optional competition squad for cheerleaders ready to level up and compete - $50 additional fee
Led by parent volunteers with help from middle & high school cheerleaders
Extra fun all season long: Twins Days Parade, Tiger Tailgate & Youth Night, TYFC Cheer Showcase, and more!

Please note, TYFC cannot guarantee the timely availability of items due to incorrect sizing/ordering. There will be opportunities for your athlete to be sized in person, starting with the Parent Meeting noted above.

At TYFC, our full‑contact tackle football program gives K–6 student‑athletes a safe, structured, and encouraging environment to learn the fundamentals of tackle football, grow their confidence, and discover the joy of competing—on the field and in life.

Safety First. Always.

Certified coaches: All coaches are background‑checked and USA Football Heads Up/Concussion Certified—trained in proper technique, player safety, and age‑appropriate instruction.
Certified equipment: Helmets, shoulder pads, and protective gear are fully certified and inspected to ensure fit and safety at every level.
Smart practice progression: We teach the game the right way, emphasizing body control, heads‑up tackling, and safe contact.

Purpose-Driven Player Development

TYFC works closely with Twinsburg’s Varsity Football coaching staff/program to align terminology, techniques, and expectations—so our athletes are ready for middle school, high school, and beyond. We focus on:

Technique mastery (stance, alignment, assignment, tackling, blocking, ball security)
Football IQ (formations, rules, situational awareness)
Mindset & resilience (motivation, discipline, and learning to compete, win, and handle adversity—the ups and downs that football and life bring)

Create a safe, fun environment where young student‑athletes grow their love and passion for the game, develop sound techniques, and learn how to work hard, be great teammates, and represent Twinsburg with pride. This shared experience builds a strong sense of community—and consistently produces athletes prepared for middle school and high school sports.

KEY DETAILS FOR 2026

Registration (grade‑based)

Please register your athlete for the grade they will enter in the 2026–2027 school year (grade as of August 2026). Registration is based on grade, not age.

Practice Cadence

Pre‑school start: Teams practice ~8 hours per week
After school begins: Teams practice ~6 hours per week
Parent Informational Meeting 3/25 @ THS 6:30 PM
Optional Mini‑Camps: Some coaches may host summer mini‑camps so athletes can meet coaches and teammates, preview practice tempo, and decide if tackle football is the right fit.

Practice start: Week of 08/03/26-8/07/26 (Acclimation/Conditioning week Mandatory 5 days straight of practice)

Scrimmage: August 22nd 2026 likely at Tiger Stadium again!!!

First Game: August 29th 2026

Playoffs Begin: October 24th, October 31, Championship November 7th. (4th through 6th grade if qualify)

1/2 Showcase: Likely October 25th.

Plus 1 games for 3rd grade and 4-6 that do not qualify for playoffs: Likely October 24th.

Game Format & Divisions

Game Days: Saturdays
Season: 7–8 regular‑season games (bye week dependent)
Postseason:
4th–6th grade: Minimum of 1 playoff game if qualification standards are met
1st/2nd & 3rd grades: Plus‑1/Showcase game
Divisions:
1st/2nd Grade: 7‑on‑7
3rd Grade: 9‑on‑9
4th, 5th, 6th Grades: 11‑on‑11

Rosters/Teams: Each grade will have one team by default (dependent on registrations). If numbers warrant—to maximize playing time and development—we may open additional teams (which would require more coaches).

2026 Registration Pricing

We’ve updated pricing to align with league rates and equipment costs. A payment plan is available this year.

Early Bird (March Madness): 02/24/2025–03/31/2025 — $25 Dollars Off
Standard: 04/01/2025–05/31/2025 — $350 (w/ need for a New Jersey)
Standard: 04/01/2025–05/31/2025 — $275 (Do not need new jersey reusing from 2025)
Late: 06/01/2025–07/07/2025 — $50.00 Late Fee (No guarantee your equipment or uniform will be in before season starts)
